Waldette is a Director at our firm and the head of our Collections Department.

She completed her LLB degree from North-West University in Potchefstroom during 2006 and subsequently completed a Masters degree in Estate Law during 2007, whilst also commencing her articles. During 2007, she was awarded the annual PPS Award for best research thesis. Both her LLB thesis, as well as her LLM thesis were published.

Waldette completed her articles at a Johannesburg firm and joined our team immediately thereafter in October 2008, where she promptly established herself as an indispensable and integral part of our litigation and family law team. Her intuitive and bold personality ensures that she values personal relationships with her clients and colleagues, while her rational mind and direct approach to collections and service delivery ensures success in each matter which she takes on.

Today, her strong litigation, family law and estate law background gives her a competitive edge when assisting clients in both commercial and private collections. Waldette acts on behalf of various mining entities, tertiary education institutions, local authorities, public and private companies and individuals. She also acts on behalf of most of the local schools and schools in the greater Bojanala district.

Waldette believes that being part of the community is an integral part of success. She is the chairperson of a local non-profit organisation called Wee-care and serves on governing bodies of the schools which she represents. She has a passion for underprivileged children and is constantly involved in some or other private project in which she assists them.

Her personal philosophy is to proceed as if success is inevitable. She believes that you can achieve anything to which you put your mind – a mindset which she is committed to passing to her own children. Her bold personality, rational mind and direct approach to resolving matters, makes her the perfect attorney for our Collections department.
