Our Criminal Law Department is headed by the experienced Johannes Mokotedi who worked as a prosecutor for about five years before he joined the firm and became directors soon thereafter. They are assisted by Thandeka Mpanza and Palesa Malebo.

Having been on the other side certainly gives him an edge to meticulously test the state’s case to ensure that none of our clients is found guilty without all the evidence having been presented to the court and having been tested by proper cross-examination. Johannes has also gained national prominence when they represented the SAPS at the Marikana Commission of Inquiry.
