Hein is a junior associate in the Litigation Department where he is actively involved in civil and commercial litigation. Hein regularly appears in court and also often assists clients with harassment law and related matters.

Hein matriculated from Potchefstroom Gymnasium, where after he pursued his career in law at the North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus. Hein obtained his LLB degree cum laude in 2016 and commenced his professional career as a candidate attorney at Van Velden – Duffey Inc in 2017. During his studies he joined the Golden Key Honour Society for his academic achievements.

Hein is very passionate about litigation and general dispute resolution. He enjoys court appearances and is very good at thinking on his feet and asking the right questions. His naturally strong personality and persuasiveness gives him an edge over other legal practitioners in the field and has proved to be a valuable asset in court.

In his free time, Hein enjoys reading and studying difficult questions about life. He believes one should always be ready to give an answer to any question. Hein is also a rugby coach at Local High School level, volunteers at the NPO Rustenburg Transformation Centre and is part of a social development group called Courageous Conversations. He also gives an annual lecture at the NWU in Pharmaceutical Industry Compliance.
